In today's environment "personal computing" is a misnomer. Our computers are mostly a a fancy portal to centralized services like Google, Twitter, Facebook, or some other place where you don't own your data.
Very little of your personal computing is actually personal.
A truly personal computer should be simple, durable, and understandable by a single human.
This is the mission behind the work of Galen Wolf-Pauly. He is the CEO of Tlon; a company devoted to fixing the internet from the ground up.
